Dive into the world of plant medicine with an interactive introductory course on herbal teas and topical herbal salves. Enjoy hands on learning with our favorite everyday herbs and go home with a copy of our favorite plant book, Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.

No previous herbal experience required.

Class 1 - Herbal tea - (Sunday December 8 at 4:30pm) Blend your own custom tea recipe, building up the basic skills of choosing, blending, and preparing herbs as a hot water medicine.

Class 2 - Herbal skincare - (Sunday January 12 at 4:30pm) Create your own healing herbal skin salve. Learn about the topical uses of gentle, soothing plants for skin issues like dryness, acne, eczema, and bruising.

Class will be located at Lot49 Books at 408 E. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125.
